Sphelar är en nästan 1mm sfärisk solcell utvecklad av Kyosemi Corporation. Genom sin runda form kan den alstra kraft på ett mycket effektivt sätt. Formen och storleken medger också att man kan gjuta in eller laminera solcellen tex. i en glasruta.

Unlike conventional flat solar cells, Sphelar®, developed by Kyosemi Corporation,  takes on a spherical shape, which makes it capable of power generation with greater efficiency and flexible applications. This tiny solar cell measuring a mere 1 mm across holds huge potential, standing ready to contribute to the realization of everything from ubiquitous network society to clean-energy society
